WW2 JAPANESE OFFICER'S SIGNED HILT KATANA SWORD & SCABBARD

This is a WW2 Japanese Officer's Katana Sword with its leather scabbard, the hilt is signed on this one and translates to Okada Kane Sada, A Seki Arsenal sword smith, the blade in in overall good condition and has been polished, the handle is in good condition, but the top steel piece has soem movement in it as well but with the grip covered in sharkskin, and it is tightly wrapped in the traditional manner with brown fabric. Beneath the fabric on each side of the grip are the standard military menuki of three cherry blossoms, with a toned gilt finish. The tsuba guard is a little loose and has some movement but is the solid style with four raised cherry blossoms in relief. The leather scabbard retains brown leather and in great condition.
