This is a very nice German 1889 Pattern sword with the makers Erfurt, as worn by a German Infantry officer during the period 1889 to 1918. This is a webbing sling for use with all marks of the Bren gun. Unlike the normal rifle webbing sling the Bren gun sling is a lot longer and has two quick release hooks. This example looks to be dated 1968 but its hard to make out.  read more
