This is a MP34 SMG 4cm width heavy duty grey canvas strap with twin heavy duty sprung loaded buckles to each end. Marked to the reverse side in heavy ink 3 letter code b.n.z, date ‘1941 MPS 1/100’ pouch to the front of the strap for carrying accessories such as a spare magazine for the machine gun.
